Xtane reduces estrogen levels in postmenopausal women, potentially hindering the growth of specific breast tumors reliant on estrogen. Aromasin is prescribed for the treatment of breast cancer in postmenopausal women, particularly for those whose cancer has progressed after 2 to 3 years of Tamoxifen treatment. Aromasin may also be utilized for other unlisted purposes.

 

Xtane poses risks to an unborn child. You must inform your doctor if you are pregnant before using this medication, as it may be harmful to the fetus. Employ effective birth control methods, and notify your doctor if you become pregnant while on Xtane.

 

You might be required to take a pregnancy test prior to starting Xtane to confirm that you are not pregnant. Additionally, you should refrain from using Xtane if you are breastfeeding or have an allergy to Exemestane.

 

Before starting Xtane, inform your doctor if you suffer from severe liver or kidney disease, or if you have not yet completed menopause. In such cases, you may require a dosage adjustment or specific tests to use this medication safely.

 

You might need to continue taking Xtane for as long as 5 years. Follow your doctor's advice closely. The effectiveness of Xtane may be diminished if taken alongside hormone replacement therapy or while using birth control pills or patches.

 

Xtane should not be used if you are allergic to exemestane, pregnant, or breastfeeding. If you have any of the following conditions, you may require a dosage adjustment or specific testing for safe use: liver disease, kidney disease, or if you have not fully completed menopause.
