Xtane reduces estrogen levels in postmenopausal women, potentially hindering the growth of specific breast tumors reliant on estrogen. Aromasin is prescribed for the treatment of breast cancer in postmenopausal women, particularly for those whose cancer has progressed after 2 to 3 years of Tamoxifen treatment. Aromasin may also be utilized for other unlisted purposes.
 
Xtane poses risks to an unborn child. You must inform your doctor if you are pregnant before using this medication, as it may be harmful to the fetus. Employ effective birth control methods, and notify your doctor if you become pregnant while on Xtane.
